Polyspice Games is an independent studio headquartered in Copenhagen, but “home” for us spans four continents. Our lead programmer codes from South Africa, our artist sketches in Indonesia, design calls begin in Denmark, and audio and music are made in England. We meet daily on Discord channels where distance is measured in time zones, never in creative barriers.
Our ideas comes from a lifelong love of games and an equally strong belief that entertainment should respect its players. We avoid deceptive monetisation, manipulative loops, and crunch culture. We keep sane schedules—some of us start at sunrise before our day jobs—and pour that limited time into thoughtful mechanics and honest fun.
Since forming, Polyspice has shipped a few mobile action-arcade titles and a series of small experimental prototypes.
Bunny Bunker, our first full Steam release, started as an “experiment” - can we release on Steam, and into deeper strategy territory: base-building by day, tower-defence by night, and a clear victory condition—launching carrot-juice fuelled rockets to safety.
Our oldest team member cut their teeth on black-and-green monitors; but all of use have been playing games since we were kids.
Together we chase the same goal: craft games we’d be proud to recommend to friends, family, and the next generation of players.
